HiperGeoOnline represents a suite of services made available by the Walkingtools server packages. (WalkingToolsServer, aka wtserver packages.) A current application of the WalkingToolsServer API’s is to support the internet sharing of the mediated walks and routes made with HiperGps (See applications page for more information.) The development of these features was originally supported by curator Sabine Himmelsbach when she was the curator of the Edith Russ Haus for this exhibition: Edith Russ House Landscape 2.0 exhibition in 2009. The first HiperGeo test server had been set up for that exhibition. Now those features are much modified for the cloud and android, and can be investigated at hipergeo, which we note is still very experimental, and still in beta.
